1. What does football mean to you? How important in your life is it?

2. Which football team do you support and how long have you been a supporter?

3. Do you go to many games?

4. Do you feel prices of tickets are value for money?

5. How do you feel about the idea of a 39th Premiership game (GAME 39) being played elsewhere in the world?

6. Do you feel that there is too much football on television? Do you miss the days when you used to have about 7 or 8 3pm kick offs on a Saturday and then on your way home from the game you have all the excitement of catching up with all the other scores?

7. What impact have foreign players had on English football? Has it improved it? Is it good or bad that there are so many here?

8. Spurs are changing stadium in the next few years and the new ground will most likely be named after the highest bidding brand. How do you feel about this situation? Would it bother you if your ground was named the Tescos stadium so long as it gave your team a lot of money? Or would you rather the more tradition name at the expense of less money for your team?

9. In 2007, Ebbsfleet United were takeover by fans from myfootballclub.com each fan that contributed £35 in the take over all get a vote on transfers and team formation and team selection. How would you feel if this situation happened at your club? Would you like to get the chance to vote on which players play and are sold etc for your team?

Thank you if you answer :)

1. Football, whilst l wo not go as far as to call it a religion, is a very important part of English culture. It brings people together, regardless of age, class, race, religion & allows them to find a common interest.
l both work in football & watch football so l say it is a fairly big part of my life. Though I've never been able to afford a season ticket, l still find great joy in cheering my side on. Even when l went to Australia by myself, l picked up a football team (Wollongong Wolves) & made friends l would otherwise not have met. A lovely experience.

2. Though well aware it possibly classes as glory-hunting, l support two teams. Newcastle United (the nearest league side to me) & Blyth Spartans, whose stadium in a two minute walk from my house. l have supported them for as long as l can remember though not growing up in a football-supporting household meant my full interest in football did not develop until my teens.

3. l try to make it to every Newcastle game when l can, though l go there as a Safety Steward, l still soak in the atmosphere, share in the joy & the pain. l still support. l try to get to as many Spartans games as l can. Though l have yet to travel to an away game in England!

4. Ticket prices r a bit steep but the money-bug is to blaim. If it were not for agents inflating costs, we could have a system more like the German leagues. Shockingly, for the price of a ticket at Blyth Spartans, l could go see Bayern Munich! l do not begrudge Spartans the money as a non-league club however when l hear EPL clubs charging around £50 for a ticket, that is disgusting! It takes the game away from the common man!

5. 'Game 39' should only ever be a friendly tournament, to have it counting for points is rediculous. Send 4 teams to 5 countries & have a knockout competition. Even then, l think it devalues our game, making the E in EPL pointless. If only people would support their own leagues, regardless of quality! The amount of Australians l met wearing Chelsea/Man U/Liverpool shirts was shocking, especially when they laughed off the idea of the A-League.

6. Sky controls when matches r played, it is just wrong. If it were not for all the coverage, places like Wigan, Boro & Blackburn would sell more tickets. The main excuse for Blackburn supporters not turning up to the FA Cup game against Blyth was that they could watch it on telly. That is not supporting, is it?

7. No doubt, the quality of our league has improved but it is becoming less & less English. l can not take pride in our league system as an Englishman, compared to say, the Italian or Scottish leagues to their countrymen. Last season is Champions League final (Chelsea v Man U) was not an 'all English final' in my opinion.

8. It is a neccessary evil these days. It takes the character away from the stadium whoring it is name to the highest bidder but with all the debt, high wages & inflated transfer fees, top clubs often need to sacrifice their soul for the almighty dollar.

9. As fun as it sounds, I'd say no. The majority of football fans do not know what they're talking about tactically, only making suggestions after something has gone wrong. Even if l was a perfect tactitian, my opinion would be lost among thousands of others & the club would become hard to control. The current system works just fine.

1) Loads. l base my life around it!
2) Man Utd - lifelong supporter. Dont care what anyone else says.
3) Because l dont live in Manchester, not many, but sometimes go to their away games at stadiums near where l live.
4) No. And they r rising. You can watch an Arsenal league match for around £50!
5) Nice prospect, but would ruin the traditions & history of the game completely.
6) Good point. l do actually get a thrill when checking scores for all the matches, more thrill than slouching on the couch watching just 1 match fully, & then finding out the final scores. But there is not enough footy on TV!!!!! And now Setanta make us pay more!!! :
7) Good as it makes club buy better players, making the league much more exciting. If there was no Ronaldo, it would not be half as interesting.
8) As fans we dont care about the money in clubs, we just want what we want. l would not really care, unless it is something ridiculous like Tescos, then l would! But for Wigan, JJB doesnt sound too cheesy, u get used to it after a while.
9) Yes but l know it isnt possible with a club like United & l accept that.
