What he is done is, spend lots of money & make Portsmouth good. This also helped his reputation as he won the FA Cup with them. However, when the financial troubles began, he instantly jumped boat to Tottenham.This meant that his reputation is intact while Adams suffers for Redknapp is mistakes.

Also, Tottenham needed a manager and, like when Ramos came, a change in manager was going to keep them going for a few weeks. However, again like Ramos, the situation will quickly turn sour & Redknapp will be sacked.
