l think the red light came on for Chelsea when you lost Essien.it is just a bit brighter now.

It is not a terribly big blow.
It certainly wo not help though.

Joe Cole is a very important player in Chelsea is line up each week

you have some good bench players that will step up to the mark


drop DECO would be also a good move

chelsea serioulsy should get some young players into their squad!
most of thier players are 26+ except for kalou and obi mikel lol

poor Joe, he is had a really bad run with injuries in recent seasons. He is by far England is most talented wide man.

Feel sorry for the Lad & the Club to be honest. In my opinion, they do not stand a chance to win this season now. With Uniteds current form & Liverpool, at best the boys in blue will finish third. But having said that, l see now with Scolari as Manager that the club will again gain it is Trophys in the near future, but its a foundation time for Chelsea, they need new young talent, a little time with the new Manager & Decco to get the feel for England Football & then there all gogogogo. Joe will be back, tough times ahead for Chelsea in the next few weeks to fit in the replacments, but in the long run, l see them getting it together, But they wont win it this year.
