my parents and other parents sit in the stands and they are constantly yelling at us to do something and often times they do not know what they're talking about and then at the end of the game they go and tell you what you did wrong as if they know what actually happened

Ha ha l love when my parents do that.

But its kind of along the lines of encouraging you to get better and keep on playing.

Parents feel they need to get very involved, so they pretend to know a lot to connect with kids and seem cool. l feel your pain.

Do not listen to your parents. When you are on that field the only person you should be listening to is your coach.
Parents should encourage you, coaches direct you on the field.
