l do not think it is fair to call us a one man team. Gerrard is an absolute hero on occasion, but honestly, other than scoring incredible goals with incredibly good timing, Gerrard contributes no more than Alonso & Mascherano do in midfield. Gerrard has been at the centre of our midfield for years, so of course we're going to play to his strengths - but if we were to lose him, we would have to adapt as any team would. You can not doubt the talent we have in our squad WITHOUT Gerrard - Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Mascherano, Alonso & Torres form one of the strongest spines in the world. Our team would still be more than a match for most opposition.
